J. Daniel Song, Lawyer
Prior to attending law school, Daniel worked at a full service law firm for a period of almost seven years. During this time, he gained a great deal of practical experience in Canadian immigration, as well as exposure to the areas of US immigration, real estate, and business law. Upon graduating from law school, he articled with a law firm in Calgary and gained exposure to a broad range of areas. Upon being called to the bar, Daniel joined a business-based law firm and practised as a solicitor.

Deepti Sharma, Student-at-Law
Deepti joined Song Law Office in 2020 as a Student-at-Law. She is a graduate of Law from India and has achieved her certificate of qualification from the Law Society of Alberta in 2020.
Deepti is a lifelong student and has astounding academic qualifications. She has an undergraduate degree in Statistics, Physics and Mathematics with an MBA in (Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations) and LLB (Common Law), from few of the preeminent institutions of India.
Prior to attending law School, she has worked in responsible positions in a few of the best managed multinational corporations as the likes of Accenture, Mahindra & Mahindra and Godrej and brings with her significant experience, working in dynamic and insistent roles at a variety of levels in organizations.
Deepti is passionate about community service and law and has been an active volunteer with non-profit organizations like Elizabeth Fry Society of Calgary and Calgary Legal Guidance, providing support, strength and advice to clients and companion members. She also encourages new immigrants as a mentor through Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council (CRIEC). These first-hand experiences in the Calgary’s legal community have further affirmed her tenacity to be a devoted legal professional.
Her areas of focus are Employment Law, Rent and Tenancy Disputes, Civil Litigation and Canadian immigration. She also offers notary public services.
